Mobypicture.com Shoot 'n Share Here's the link to the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fgZftKDfOzY .While traveling with the solar mobile, I stayed also at Obras, an Artist in Residence place in Portugal. Yesterday I had a presentation with some 'works in progress' . I'm experimenting a lot with a very old technique right now: making blue prints. This is a photographic direct print technique. I use prepared cotton, put an object on it, expose it to light for about 10 minutes (depends on the light intensity) then rinse thoroughly and dry. The print is blue (this is where the name blue print comes from...). I also made a big print of the solar mobile! [1.70 x 3.60 m.) Real solar powered art :-) I will combine this process with other techniques afterwards to get layered, hybrid works.
